No sooner than Amaziah cups his hands when a small drawer opens near the top of this stone. A smal gold and shiney object leaps out of the draw and drops into Amaziah's hands. The drawer closes.
"Place it on as you would a wedding band but only on either of your two middle fingers," Muffield said.
Amaziah does so and looks at the plane shiney ring that looks more like a plain wedding band.
"Take this ring off for no one. Remove only to bathe or clean the ring yourself. It is your phaithful shield ring with your shield of protection. It will come at will with your concious or unconcious thoughts and will protect you against anything as strong as a canon ball fired at you at a hundred miles per houror more. It is transparent with solid white trimming in side and out. You can make it the size of a three story building if desire and one day any size desired."
There is a sharp exploding sound made behind Dr. Amaziah. He turns quickly with his left hand up and the shield magically appears with his out streched hands with him holding the handle of the shield.
"Very good. Now make it disappear with your thoughts," Muffield said.
The shield disappears. This surprises Amaziah because it is something that only occurs in magical fairytails. . .not in real life. But, is this real life or is he just dreaming?
"Now hold your hand up and think about the shield."
The shield instantly appears. Then with a thought it disappears.
