The old general and his closes helpers watch as the Evil Crage pushes his way through the freedom fighters with his sword and shield leading the mixed human and goblander army toward him.
"Sir, shall we retreat? Shall we escort you to your waiting bullet proof flyingmobile?" one of the men asked the general.
"You go ahead. I want to look the devil in his eye and tell him that he may win this battle," the general answered, "but, devil, you have not won the war."
It is but two minutes when the general is face to face with this devil. Evil Crage speaks, "You were once a prominent member of the Rashen military council, but you have chosen another destiny. You will die except, however, if you decide now to return to face the emperor and apoligize for betraying Rash."
"I will die first."
"As you wish."
It takes only a moment for the evil wizard to take the life of the general in front of the eyes of the freedom fighters. A touch the old general's nose and the old general dies.
"A secret dies with me . . ." choked out the general as he falls to the ground.
"Secret!" the Evil Crage screamed at the dying man.
"I. . . gave. . .repor. . .ter . . .the secret. . ."
"I will find this reporter and handle him or her myself."
Crage knows that only the members and former members of the Rashen inner council knows something that no one else in the world knows. HOwever, if this secret was leeked to a reporter, it may be found by the enemies of Rash (New America and New Britain) and this may make Rash change its plans of conquest.
All of the freedom fighters find they are surrounded. The Evil Crage uses his in-mortal powers to physically elevate himself for all to see and hear his announcement. He places his sword in its sheeth and reveals the red crystal ball and announces. "Take all of these so-called freedom fighters into captivity and to a prison to the east. Go into their villages here on the plain and take the women and children to the far reaches of Siberia. Burn the villages to the ground. Any resisters. . .don't hesitate but kill him or her." Grage lowers himself to the ground and says to himself, "I must find this reporter to see if he or she knows anything concerning a plan given in confidence only to me, this general, and the rest of the emperor's military staff. The world cannot know this plan. . .a weapon like NO other ever built."
The freedom fighters stir with anger and some resist the RAshen military to little avail. The Evil Crage turns, comes back to the earth, and walks toward the opening of the Cobrola.
A freedom fighter falls to the ground and prays aloud to God. "Please, God, forgive your Kievan and Russian people for given in to this evil empire. Give us some solace and free us from this tyranny."
A Rashen soldier pulls him up from the ground and kicks him to make him walk forward as the others are being marched away by goblanders and men. "Get up slime. No solace for you. No God is going to help you now! No God is going to help your idea of freedom! Rash will rule the world!"
