The Muffin's story (both Part I and Part II), as well as all other muffin stories written in the future, is appropriate for ages 13 and above. Well, a bright ten year old can read The Muffins too because it is really appropriate for all ages. There is MILD violence but nothing graphic, and there is NO SEXUAL content. Some readers may consider this story a religious story  from the way it is told while others may not.
