There is a price to pay for having the Bruised Diamond. From the time he possessed the diamond Solomon and David are pursued by an evil wizard and goblanders. With goblanders following them, soon they are confronted by the evil Master Z and his skelebots as Solomon, his family, and his friends flee through the dangerous country side of North America for the safety of the Day City. Rash wants the diamond back and will chase the muffin company deep into the North American continent to obtain it back from the muffin company.
With Solomon, as he flees with the Bruised Diamond from Rashen goblanders, are his cousins David Mayfield and Charlotte Muffield, Grandfather Oshua Muffield, Mr. Thomas (Tee) Adkinson, Father Bolvah an ininkaionack who is a priest, Lord Charles Buckingham of Britain and Charles's partner Golump the reptilian, and Tin-can the little robot.
