I CAN MAKE IT TO A PLACE
I CAN SIT
(A religious song)
by Tim Robinson (1981)

1. There is a lot before me.
And as far as the eye could see.
2. On the road
     I am told...
3. There are trials
     Love flow from His vials
4. And then I know
     An unward march I go

             I can make it
To a place I can sit

5. This I do admit
A vow to Him I commit
6. There are mountains on this road
Rivers to cross, I am told
7.  I can make it
To a place I will sit
8. The road may get ruff
And the going a little tuff

           I will make it
To a place I can sit

9. I can stand the test
In His bosom I will rest
10. With the Love

       from above
11. I will make it
This a short ways a bit
12. From His Word I see
Hold on Tim; to this place, you will          see

           I can make it
To a place I can sit

13. There will be some pain
      For there's much rain
14.  Sky's not always, Blue
      There are dark clouds too
15. This trial through it I will make
And the pain I can take.
16. But for You (God)
      I'll go through

          I will make it
to a place I can sit.

Reprise: I can make it, Oh I will make, 'cause I can take it, and I will make it, I can make it to a place I can sit.
YES I will make it, I can, 'cause I take it, for I will make it to a place I will sit.
YOU can take it, you can make, oh you will it to a place you will sit.
