Poetry by Tim
Because I like spring and nature so much I wrote the following poems about the beauty of spring as I see it, and about one of my favorite spring and summer flying creatures, the buttery fly.

I remember as a child watching butterflies fly through the fields here in Niagara Falls, New York. I admired them with their grace and beauty. I write these poems about them.

The Butterflies.

A Natural Adornment

Of Purple flowers
In fields greeen
After rain showers
A rainbow seen

A rose red
Beautiful to see
A table of ginger bread
As sweet as can be

Yellow daffodils grow
And the rainbow flows
Gold pastures oohhhh
A silver lining shows

Your beauty, Yes
As a lovely spring day
Even in your heart possess
You're adorned with array

A touch of sweetness
With honey and more
As sweet scent freshness
You I adore

Your natural splendid attire
And adornment of beauty
All this you inspire
And made this poem to be

In 1987 I wrote more poems that year than any other year. It was year of the separation of my children's mother and I. Never the less with the help of God, who inspired me to write poetry, I was able to overcome the hurt I carried. The following poems, beginning with A Natural Adornment I wrote that trying year of my faith in God. Amen..
Tim's Song to the Butterfly
(originally Tim's Ode to the Butterfly).

Where would we be
Without the butterfly
Who flies free

Its beauty as no other
When they spread their wings
And as they flutter

As they gracefully fly
And fan the air
And graces the sky

A friend of the flower
An inspiration of the artist call
They bring a blessing as a spring shower

Oh butterfly fly
Fly for me
Fan your wings high

I like your many kind
You're all so wonderful
Many of you're all so COLORFUL

Yes you are the flower
Of the insect world
You, the gift hopefully for ever.
